This is very helpful. I got the same problem with megaclick after I installed megaupload toolbar. I uninstalled the said toolbar from the Windows ad/remove section, however, the toolbar still exists in Firefox, but no longer in Explorer. I uninstalled the toolbar from the Firefox itself. I ran the Ad-Aware, but didn't do much. I ran regedit, and removed any trail of megaclick and megaupload. I cleaned all the private date inclluding cookies. I switched the server provided and tested whether the spyware was gone. Now, it has worked.
