But now I have another one, but doesn’t give me a number or how to fix it. Here is what it says.

a connection to the remote computer could not be established. You might need to change the network settings for this connection. For further assistance, click More Info or search Help and Support Center for this error number.

Well, I don’t know where to go or what steps to use. I did go to the “network connections” and change a few things, but didn’t seem to matter so I don’t even know that’s where I was suppose to go.

I have a verizon wireless modem and I completely took it off and redownloaded it 3 times and it’s shows nothing wrong with it, it’s the computer connection. Plase advise, and thank you in advance.

I used to work at home remotely and now am not. My O/S is Windows Vista and I’m running Firefox; I’m also using Verizon FiOS for my signal. 85% of the time I’m running my browsers, this error message comes up. Would the solution above also work for me? I’ve called Verizon tech support, Compaq tech support and none of the solutions presented have worked for me. Help!
